Hired!

I was fortunate enough to be offered a 3D Artist position at Coffee Stain Studios over the summer. The CSS people are a fun bunch and busy with really inspiring projects and ideas. The main focus is currently on their recently released game Sanctum. The art direction of the game is really beautiful and I'm very happy to get to contribute to it:)

I've had some evenings free lately and so I finally got some inspiration to do some non-jobrelated stuff (yea I know, long time no update...) Soon I'll get started on that moped but I've been doing so much hard surface modeling lately so I felt I had to do some zbrushing first:)

A little update...

I've got some good news to share with you all! A couple of weeks ago I was asked to join the guys at Interceptor Entertainment and help them out with the revision of DN3D, Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded. So I've been spending most of my time lately creating 3D stuff for that project and got some busy weeks to come as well, so it will probably take a while before I'll post new stuff here.
But I have plans to develop my Bunker Hangout scene. I'd like to expand it and make an exterior as well as interior and the next thing on my list will be this moped that will be parked outside the bunker. 
Don't know when I'll have time to start but I'm looking forward to it anyways.. :)

W.I.P Bunker Hangout


I made a bunker environment a while ago and thought I'd try to improve it by adding some more detail to it. I've left the building and terrain as it is for now (will work more on those things later) and focused on creating props and debris for the interior. 
The idea is that someone has found this old bunker from WWII and made a sort of hangout out of it. I'm gonna add some more stuff like graffiti, garbage and chipped concrete to make it more grungy and less neat.

W.I.P Capitalship for RealSpace




My first space ship model eva! I'm producing some content for an XNA game my Norwegian friend Marius is working on. It's going to be interesting as I'm not really good at doing sci-fi stuff :P But still I'm looking forward to see how it will turn out.
I'm planning to add more details and maybe make some unique textures. The ones used in this render are three quite simple tiling textures.

Ogre sculpt



I wanted to try to improve my anatomy skills so I dug up my old ogre I did more than two years ago (the old lowpoly version in the second pic). So I've added detail and changed the proportions to get a more interesting character. This would be my first serious attempt to sculpt muscle mass so I'm quite happy with the results. 
The lowpoly version was originally made for this animation clip. Would be really cool to update it with this new sculpt but it would be too much work...
