Sanctum 2 - Towers

The release of Sanctum 2 is getting closer and Coffee Stain Studios started a while ago to make development updates on their blog and facebook page to visualize some of the main features of the game and how it differs from its' predecessor. Up until very recently these updates consisted of concept art (awesome concept art I might add:p) but now they've finally showcased some 3d stuff! Which of course makes me happy and proud because that's what I've been working on^^
These are three of the towers that will be available in Sanctum 2. For the rocket tower I had a good concept to work from (by Gustaf Tivander) but the other two are based on rough initial ideas from which I got to freestyle alot and develop the design myself with input from Gustaf.
The rocket and cannon tower have been textured by Emmy Wahlbäck.
I will exchange these lowres images with better ones a soon as I get them.

You can expect to see some breakdowns of these later when I get permission to show them:)
Hope you like them!

RPG - Duke Nukem Reloaded

Finally I get to show off this one:) I made it about a year ago for Interceptor entertainment and Duke Nukem Reloaded. It's based on concepts by Arturo Pahua and rendered using Marmoset Toolbag.
I'll add it to my portfolio later on along with some breakdowns. Hope you like it:)

I was fortunate enough to be offered a 3D Artist position at Coffee Stain Studios over the summer. The CSS people are a fun bunch and busy with really inspiring projects and ideas. The main focus is currently on their recently released game Sanctum. The art direction of the game is really beautiful and I'm very happy to get to contribute to it:)
Take a look at these screenshots, or better yet, buy the game and get the full experience!

Meet Mr Marvin

I've had some evenings free lately and so I finally got some inspiration to do some non-jobrelated stuff (yea I know, long time no update...) Soon I'll get started on that moped but I've been doing so much hard surface modeling lately so I felt I had to do some zbrushing first:)

A little update...

I've got some good news to share with you all! A couple of weeks ago I was asked to join the guys at Interceptor Entertainment and help them out with the revision of DN3D, Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded. So I've been spending most of my time lately creating 3D stuff for that project and got some busy weeks to come as well, so it will probably take a while before I'll post new stuff here.
But I have plans to develop my Bunker Hangout scene. I'd like to expand it and make an exterior as well as interior and the next thing on my list will be this moped that will be parked outside the bunker.
Don't know when I'll have time to start but I'm looking forward to it anyways.. :)

Character concept

Here's a character concept I've created for my friends at DeRail Entertainment. It's the protagonist and his sidekick :) Hope you like it!

More props - Bunker Hangout

I've made some more props for my bunker scene and rendered them in Marmoset toolbag. Portfolio update coming up.

W.I.P Bunker Hangout

I made a bunker environment a while ago and thought I'd try to improve it by adding some more detail to it. I've left the building and terrain as it is for now (will work more on those things later) and focused on creating props and debris for the interior.
The idea is that someone has found this old bunker from WWII and made a sort of hangout out of it. I'm gonna add some more stuff like graffiti, garbage and chipped concrete to make it more grungy and less neat.
Check the portfolio page for wireframes and textures.

Some more props are on their way:
